Through this APSC Recruitment 2026 drive, eligible candidates looking for the latest Assam government jobs can apply online for Veterinary Officer/Block Veterinary Officer under the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department and Research Assistant under the Labour Welfare Department. The advertisement also mentions the following as preferable Qualifications/experience:


• Diploma in Computer Application; or


• Experience in dealing with subjects relating to Labour Laws in a Government Department/Organisation; or


• Degree or Diploma in Labour Laws/Social Work.





Age Limit: Minimum age 21 years maximum age 38 years ( Age calculated as on: 01 January 2026 )



Relaxation is applicable as follows:


SC/ST: 5 years, up to 43 years


OBC/MOBC: 3 years, up to 41 years


PwBD: 10 years irrespective of category

2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) if you have not already registered.


3. Use an active email ID and mobile number.


4. Log in with your registered credentials.


5. Select the relevant recruitment/post.

6. Upload a recent photograph and signature in the prescribed size.

APSC states that documents should generally be uploaded in PDF format, with the file size not exceeding 4 MB. The recent photograph and signature should each be within 50 KB to 200 KB as specified in the advertisement.

Selection Process



1. The selection procedure for these recruitments will be notified by the Assam Public Service Commission. APSC may decide the appropriate examination/test process depending on the post, cadre, grade and number of applications received.


2. The Commission may also conduct examinations/tests zone-wise depending on the number of candidates.
