a) The candidate shall apply for one vacancy only. A candidate applying against vacancy of one banking outlet will not be eligible to apply against vacancy of any other banking outlet.
b) Candidature of the applicant will be considered only against the vacancies in the banking outlet for
which he/ she has applied/ opted.
c) Selected candidates will be posted in the banking outlet for which they have applied
Salary (Pay and Allowances)
₹30,000 per month (fixed pay) including all statutory deductions.
Annual increment and incentives based on performance.
IPPB Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
20 to 35 years (as on 01.08.2025)
Educational Qualification:
Graduate in any discipline (Regular or Distance) from a recognized University/Institution/Board approved by Govt. of India.
Experience: Not required.
Candidate must be a Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) currently engaged with the Department of Posts as on 01.08.2025.
Important Note:
The applicant should have no vigilance/ disciplinary case pending against him/her and should also not be serving punishment at the time of applying.
Tenure of Engagement
Initially for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance.
Not eligible for permanent absorption in IPPB.
Performance reviewed every 6 months.
Selection Process
Selection on Merit Basis based on graduation marks.
IPPB may conduct Online Test if required.
In case of a tie: preference given to seniority in DoP service, then date of birth.

Job Profile – Executive (IPPB Recruitment 2025)
The role of Executive in India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) involves:
Achieving monthly revenue targets through direct sales of the Bank’s products.
Supporting customer acquisition events and awareness campaigns to improve financial literacy in the branch/office area.
Conducting training and education sessions for Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) on IPPB products and services.
Coordinating with Department of Posts Inspectors and Postmasters to promote IPPB and third-party sales.
Assisting GDS in acquiring new customers for IPPB and its partner organizations.
Supporting IPPB officers in daily operational activities.
Building and maintaining customer relationships through outreach and literacy programs.
Managing relationships with channel partners to promote sales and marketing campaigns.
Performing any other duties assigned by the Bank as required.

Code of Conduct
A GDS engaged shall continue to be governed by the GDS (Conduct and Engagement Rules), 2020.
If a GDS engages in any misconduct during his/her tenure at IPPB, the matter will be reported to the concerned authority at the Department of Posts (DoP), and suitable action including repatriation may be taken as per rules.
In cases of indiscipline, misconduct, insubordination, or unruly/violent behavior, IPPB will transfer all related records and evidence to the parent organization.
This engagement is purely temporary for a fixed tenure and does not lead to regular absorption in IPPB.
IPPB will reimburse proportionate discharge benefits, DoP subscriptions, and NPS contributions to the concerned DAP every month after salary disbursement.
If a GDS engaged as Executive proceeds on unauthorized leave, he/she will be immediately repatriated to DoP.
Action Against Candidates Found Guilty of Misconduct
Candidates must not provide false, incorrect, or fabricated information in their application.
If any such irregularity is found, their candidature will be cancelled, and if already engaged, they may be dismissed from service.
Those found guilty of:
Using unfair means during the selection process,
Impersonation, or
Canvassing or obtaining support for candidature through improper means,
may be permanently or temporarily debarred from IPPB recruitment.
