Selection Process
The selection process will be notified in due course of time.
Candidates should regularly check the Notice Board of the establishment of the Special Judge, CBI, Assam, Guwahati, as well as the official website of Kamrup(M) District Judiciary for updates:
The selection process will consist of an Interview/Viva-Voce (50 marks for each member).
The date and place of the interview will be announced later on the official website.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
Terms and Conditions
Candidates must submit self-attested copies of all relevant documents/testimonials along with three recent passport-size photographs, one of which should be pasted on the application form.
Candidates must produce original certificates regarding educational qualification, date of birth, caste, and work experience when asked for.
Applications must be complete in all respects; incomplete applications (without photo, signature, etc.) will be rejected without notice.
No application fee is required.
Candidates already in Government service must apply through proper channel and produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their present employer.
Applicants must submit a self-declaration stating:
“I have not passed HSSLC or equivalent examination and I shall be liable for criminal prosecution for submission/detection of my false educational qualification.”
Any false information will lead to cancellation of candidature and may result in criminal prosecution.
Candidates will be responsible for any mistake made in their application form.
The office shall not be liable for any loss or delay in postal transit.
Candidates found canvassing directly or indirectly will be disqualified.
The office reserves the right to cancel, alter, or modify the advertisement or any condition without prior notice.

What is the educational eligibility?
Minimum Class VIII passed. Candidates who have passed HSSLC (Class 12) or above are not eligible for these posts.
What is the age limit?
Minimum 18 years. Maximum as per Government of Assam rules (generally 40 for UR, 43 for OBC/MOBC, 45 for SC/ST, 50 for PwD). Age will be counted as on 01.11.2025.
