The Directorate of Land Records & Surveys, Assam has released an official recruitment notification for 552 Land Records Assistant (LRA) posts under the Assam Land Records Sub-Ordinate Service Rules. Candidates who have completed the RCCC training from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon can apply online through the official portal. Eligibility Criteria



Educational Qualification: Candidates must fulfill the following qualifications


• Must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination from a recognized board.


• Must have completed Recorder Certificate Class Course (RCCC) from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon.


• Must have computer proficiency with minimum 30 words per minute typing speed in Assamese or Bengali.




Age Limit:  Minimum age 21 years and maximum age 40 years


Note: Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2025. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as per Government rules.





Selection Process



The selection process will consist of two stages:


1. Written Examination


• Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)


• Total Marks: 80



Subjects:


• Mathematics (Class X level) – 10 marks


• Conventional Survey – 50 marks


• Modern Survey – 20 marks


Note: Negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applied for each incorrect answer.




2. Skill Test


Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for a Computer Proficiency Test.


Marks: 20


The skill test will include:


• Assamese/Bengali Unicode typing


• Basic computer operations


• Document preparation


• Data entry and file handling


• Printing tasks



Minimum Qualifying Marks:
