The Gauhati High Court, Guwahati has released a re-advertisement for the post of Junior Grade Translator under OBC/MOBC category. GHC Junior Grade Translator Eligibility Criteria


Educational Qualification:

Master’s Degree from a recognized university in any official language of the State under the jurisdiction of Gauhati High Court.


Minimum 6-month Computer Certificate.


Law Graduate candidates will be given preference


Age Limit (as on last date of application):


Maximum Age for OBC/MOBC: 43 years


PwBD candidates will get relaxation as per rules.


Eligible Disabilities: HH, OL, BL, OA, BLOA, OAOL, DW, LC, AAV


 

Selection Process


1. Written Examination (Descriptive Type): 100 marks, 2 hours (English & Assamese language proficiency).

2. Interview/Viva-Voce: 30 marks. Candidates in ratio of 1:3 will be called. Must secure at least 60% (18 out of 30 marks) to qualify


.Candidates must secure minimum 60% marks (18 out of 30) in the interview to qualify.


Final Merit List: Based on the total marks obtained in Written Exam + Interview.

In case of a tie, preference will be given based on written marks and then by age (senior candidate).
