Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.) in any relevant field and Animal Husbandry.

Minimum 2 years of experience in care, handling, breeding, and maintenance of laboratory animals (especially inbred/transgenic strains).


Desirable Qualification:

Ph.D. (Veterinary Science) with at least 2 years’ experience in a GLP-like experimental animal house facility.

Hands-on experience with rodents (IVC, ACS, BDS) and rodent anaesthesia chambers in HVAC and BMS environments.

Experience in preparing SOPs as per GLP/regulatory norms.


Age Limit:

Maximum 45 years, with relaxation as per Govt. of India rules.


Job Responsibility:

The selected veterinarian will be responsible for the primary care and monitoring of animal health (rats, mice, guinea pigs, and rabbits) in the GLP-like Animal House Facility (AHF) of IASST.


Remuneration:

₹65,000 – ₹80,000 per month (Consolidated)

Applications must be submitted ONLINE ONLY through the official RRB websites —

Step-by-Step Guide:

Step 1: Create an Account (One-Time Registration)

  • Visit the official RRB website.
  • Click on “Create an Account” (if you haven’t registered earlier).
  • Fill in your Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, and Email ID carefully.
  • Verify details using Aadhaar / DigiLocker (recommended) for faster verification.
  • Once created, the account details cannot be modified later, so check twice before submitting.

Step 2: Login and Fill Online Application Form

Log in using your registered User ID and Password.

Select the CEN No. 06/2025 (Graduate Posts) recruitment.

Upload:

Correction Window will be open from 23 November to 02 December 2025.

What is CEN No. 06/2025 and which posts are included? Basics

It’s the Centralised Employment Notice for RRB NTPC Graduate posts such as Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, and Traffic Assistant.

What are the application dates and last date to apply? Dates

Online applications open on 21 October 2025 and close on 20 November 2025 (11:59 PM). Fee payment is allowed till 22 November 2025. Correction window: 23 Nov–02 Dec 2025. Scribe registration: 03–07 Dec 2025.

What is the age limit and cutoff date? Age

18–33 years as on 01 January 2026 (UR/EWS). OBC (NCL): up to 36; SC/ST: up to 38. Other relaxations apply as per rules. Your date of birth must match your Matric/10th certificate.

Which medical standards apply and is LASIK allowed? Medical

Posts require A-2, B-2 or C-2 standards. Candidates who underwent LASIK or similar refractive surgery are not eligible for A-2 posts (e.g., Station Master, Traffic Assistant, Goods Train Manager) but are eligible for B-2 and C-2 posts as per rules.

Can I apply to multiple RRBs or change my chosen RRB later? Rules

No. You can apply to only one RRB. Multiple applications lead to rejection. The chosen RRB and details entered during “Create an Account” cannot be changed later.

Who can claim EBC, OBC-NCL and EWS benefits? Reservation

EBC (income < ₹50,000/year) is only for fee concession, not job reservation. OBC-NCL/EWS have reservation as per central rules with certificates valid by the closing date. Do not confuse EBC with OBC-NCL or EWS—they are distinct.

Leave Entitlement:

Consultants will be entitled to paid leave of 1.5 days per completed month of service.

Accumulation of leave beyond the calendar year is not allowed.

In exceptional cases, consultants may be called on holidays or after office hours — no extra pay will be given.


 

Confidentiality Clause:

The consultant shall maintain strict confidentiality of all official information and data.

No part of data, document, or information collected during engagement shall be published, reproduced, or shared with any third party without written approval of NESTS.

All records and materials must be handed over to NESTS at the end of the contract.



Termination Clause:

Consultant may resign with one month’s notice or remuneration in lieu thereof.

NESTS reserves the right to terminate the contract anytime without assigning any reason.



Scope of Work (Key Responsibilities):

Provide technical assistance to the NESTS Civil Division.

Conduct site inspections of EMRS projects.

Ensure compliance with engineering and Government of India standards.

Coordinate with CPWD, PSUs, and State Government agencies.

Prepare and maintain technical files and reports.

Participate in meetings and prepare technical presentations.

Any other duty assigned by the competent authority.
