Sikkim University has released an official notification (Notification No. 22/2026 dated 18.02.2026) inviting eligible candidates to attend a Walk-in Interview for 14 Guest Faculty posts. The interview is scheduled to be held on 23rd February 2026 at Gangtok, Sikkim. This is a great opportunity for

• Required Specialization: M.Sc. in Physics

• Qualification: Post Graduation in the concerned subject with specialization in the required field. Candidate must have qualified NET or hold a Ph.D. degree.

2. Geology

• Qualification: Post Graduation in the concerned subject with specialization in Environmental Sciences. NET qualified or Ph.D. degree holders are eligible.

II. School of Human Sciences

Remuneration:

• ₹1,500 per lecture

• Maximum ₹50,000 per month

• Maximum 25 classes per month

• Guest Faculty may also be assigned answer script evaluation and paper setting responsibilities.
