1. Class-I (Junior Grade) Home Guards
Candidates must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam. PRC or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate will be accepted as proof of residency.
Educational Qualification:
Applicants must be Graduates in any discipline from a recognized university.
Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 21 Years to 38 Years ( as on 01 January 2026 )
Age Relaxation:
• SC/ST: 5 Years
• OBC/MOBC: 3 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: Up to 50 Years for UR category with additional relaxation for reserved categories as per rules.

• PwBD category is not applicable for this post.

• Diploma obtained through distance mode will not be accepted.
