Selection Process – SSB Recruitment 2026
The selection process for SSB recruitment is conducted in multiple stages. Candidates must qualify each stage to move to the next.
Stage 1: PET & PST (Physical Test)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) For Sub Inspector (Communication)
Male: 1.6 Km run in 6 minutes 30 seconds
Female: 800 meters run in 4 minutes
Important:
• Ex-servicemen are exempted from PET
• But they must appear in other stages
2. Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who qualify PET will undergo PST
