Main Written Examination Pattern
The Main Written Examination for Assam Judicial Service Grade-I consists of four papers. Candidates must qualify each paper as per the required criteria.
Paper-I (100 Marks):
This paper includes General Knowledge, Aptitude, Intelligence, and English (Essay Writing and Comprehension).
Paper-II (100 Marks):
This paper covers core law subjects such as Civil Procedure Code (CPC), Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), Indian Penal Code (IPC/BNS), Evidence Act, and Transfer of Property Act.
Paper-III (100 Marks):
This paper focuses on Judgment Writing, Jurisprudence, and the Constitution of India.
Paper-IV (50 Marks):
This paper tests proficiency in the Assamese language and is qualifying in nature.
