Essential Qualification & Experience

Candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized University in India.

2. Must possess a valid license/enrolment certificate from any Bar Council in India.

3. Minimum 5 years of continuous practice as an Advocate in Courts/Tribunals within Assam, including the High Court (preferably service matters).

Age Limit: Maximum age: 60 years as on 01.01.2026

Note:- (Age will be calculated based on HSLC/Matriculation Admit Card or Pass Certificate only.)
