APSC Urban Technical Officer Eligibility Criteria
Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen and permanent resident of Assam.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):
21 to 38 years
Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 yrs, OBC/MOBC – 3 yrs, PwBD – 10 yrs, Ex-Servicemen – up to 50 yrs.
Educational Qualification:
1. Urban Technical Officer (Junior Grade-III) – Civil Engineer / Public Health Engineer
Qualification:
B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Full time) from AICTE-recognized University/Institute.
OR
Passed AMIE (India) Part A & B in Civil Engineering, provided enrollment was on or before 30.06.2013.
2. Urban Technical Officer (Junior Grade-III) – Mechanical Engineer
Qualification:
B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Full time) from AICTE-recognized University/Institute.
OR
Passed AMIE (India) Part A & B in Mechanical Engineering, provided enrollment was on or before 31.05.2013.
3. Urban Technical Officer (Junior Grade-II) – Electrical Engineer
Qualification:
B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Full time) from AICTE-recognized University/Institute.
OR
Passed AMIE (India) Part A & B in Electrical Engineering, provided enrollment was on or before 31.05.2013.
4. Urban Technical Officer (Junior Grade-III) – Environmental Engineer
Qualification:
B.E/B.Tech in Environmental Engineering (Full time) from AICTE-recognized University/Institute.
OR
B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Full time) with Master’s degree in Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering.
OR
Passed AMIE (India) Part A & B in Environmental Engineering or in Civil Engineering with Master’s in Environmental Science/Engineering, provided enrollment was on or before 31.05.2013.

Upload recent photograph (50–200 KB, not older than 3 months) and signature (50–200 KB).
Application Fee Payment:
Pay the prescribed application fee online (via Debit Card / Net Banking / GRAS).
In case of double debit, the bank will refund automatically within 5–7 working days.
