Educational Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering from AICTE-recognized institutes
OR
AMIE (India) in relevant engineering discipline (enrolled before 31.05.2013).
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 38 years
Age Relaxation:

How to Apply – APSC Assistant Engineer (PHE) Recruitment 2025
Candidates must apply online only through the APSC Recruitment portal
No other mode of application will be accepted.
New users must complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the portal before applying.
Register with a valid and active e-mail ID and mobile number.
After registration, log in using your registered e-mail/mobile and password.
Fill in all required details carefully and check eligibility before submission.
Upload scanned documents/certificates in PDF format (DOB, educational qualifications, caste/category, etc.)
File size: not more than 4 MB
Scanning at 200 dpi greyscale (recommended)
Upload recent Photograph (50–200 KB, not older than 3 months) and Signature (50–200 KB).
Verify all uploaded documents using the Preview option before final submission. No editing allowed after final submission.
Pay the required application fee online.
Fee once paid will not be refunded.
In case of double debit, refund will be auto-processed within 5–7 working days.
On successful submission, an auto-generated confirmation e-mail/SMS will be sent.
Take a printout of the submitted application form and keep it for future reference.
Candidates may also apply through Common Service Centres (CSCs) if they don’t have internet banking/debit card facility.
Submit the application well before the closing date to avoid last-minute issues.
At the time of interview, candidates must produce the hard copy of the online application along with original documents/certificates and self-attested copies. Failing to produce any document will lead to disqualification.
Required Documents:
Class-X/Class-XII Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet clearly indicating Date of Birth.
Certificates & Mark sheets of all examinations from HSLC onwards up to qualifying exam.
B.E./B.Tech/AMIE Certificate along with all semester/year mark sheets.
Provisional certificate with mark sheets will also be accepted.
Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/MOBC) issued by Govt. of Assam.
BPL Certificate (if applicable).
Declaration Form-A regarding Small Family Norms (Download from APSC website: www.apsc.nic.in

Permanent Resident Certificate / Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
PwBD Certificate (if applicable).
Any other supporting documents for claims made in the application.
Important Notes:
Date of Birth once entered in the application is final.
Only Class X / XII certificates will be accepted as valid DOB proof.
All necessary documents must be uploaded before final submission of online form.

The selection procedure will be notified later through corrigendum/addendum if required.
The Commission will decide whether to conduct screening/written test, interview, or both depending upon the number of applications.
