Eligibility Criteria Assam Special Educator Recruitment 2025
Educational Qualification:
Graduate/ Post Graduate with 50% marks (either in Graduation or Post Graduation)
B.Ed. (Special Education) recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
Degrees from KKHSOU, IGNOU, IDOL (GU), and Distance Education under Dibrugarh University are acceptable.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):
General/UR: 18–40 years
Ex-Servicemen: up to 42 years
OBC/MOBC: up to 43 years
SC/ST(P)/ST(H): up to 45 years
PwD: up to 50 years
Other Conditions:
Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration required.
Candidates with more than two living children on/after 01.01.2021 are not eligible.

TET cum Recruitment Test (140 marks):
Pedagogy – 50 marks
About Assam & Its People – 35 marks
General Mathematics (10th level) – 15 marks
General English – 30 marks
General Studies & Current Affairs – 10 marks
Additional Marks:
NCC (up to 5 marks) / Sports (National Level) / Fine Arts & Cultural Activities (National Level)
Weightage for candidates who cleared earlier High School TET but not appointed
