Tezpur University, Assam invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DBT-funded research project under the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.

"Xyloglucan Remodelling Enzymes as Potential Target for Crop and Biomass Improvement"

 Vacancy Details:

  • Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Project Duration: Initially 6 months, extendable based on performance
  • Fellowship:
    • ₹37,000/- + HRA (1st & 2nd Year)
    • ₹42,000/- + HRA (3rd Year)

 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Master’s degree (M.Sc./M.Tech) in:
    • Molecular Biology
    • Biotechnology
    • Bioinformatics
    • Life Sciences
    • Botany
  • Plus any one of the following:
    • Qualified CSIR/UGC NET (including Assistant Professorship) or GATE
    • Qualified National level exam by DBT / ICAR / ICMR etc.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on last date of application (Relaxation as per GOI norms)

 Documents Required at Interview:

  • Class 10 onwards marksheets & certificates
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • NET/GATE certificate
  • Experience certificate (if any)
  • Recent signed CV
  • Filled Annexure-I application form (available in official notification)
