The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) Assam has officially released the Assam Police Admit Card 2024 for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). If you have applied for the post of Constable, you can now download your PST/PET Call Letter from the official website slprbassam.in.

How to Download Your Assam Police Constable Admit Card:

1. Visit the Official Website: Click Here
2. Locate the Admit Card Tab: Click on the link titled ‘E-Admit Card for PST & PET in pursuance of Notice No. SLPRB/REC/CONST (AB & UB)/617/2023/254 dated 19-09-2024’.
3. Enter Your Credentials: Input your Application Number, Name, and Date of Birth.
4. Download and Print: After submission, download and print your admit card for future use.

 Expect in the Tests:

• PST (Physical Standard Test): Your height, weight, and chest (for male candidates) will be measured using modern technology. A medical officer will also conduct preliminary health checks like vision tests, color blindness, flat foot, etc.
• PET (Physical Efficiency Test): Candidates clearing PST will qualify for PET, which involves:
• 3200 meters race for males
• 1600 meters race for females

For the Assam Police Physical Efficiency Test (PET), the race times for the candidates are as follows:

• Male Candidates: Must complete a 3200 meters race within 14 minutes.

Education Qualification

Master's Degree: 

A good academic record with at least 55% marks or equivalent at the Master's level in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign University.

National Eligibility Test (NET):

Candidates must have cleared the NET conducted by UGC, CSIR, or a similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET. However, candidates with a Ph.D. degree (as per UGC's 2009 guidelines) are exempt from this requirement.

Age:

38 years below

A relaxation of 5% marks is provided at the graduate and Master's levels for SC/ST/OBC/Differently-abled candidates.

Other Considerations:

The period taken to acquire M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. degrees is not considered teaching/research experience for the appointment.

NET/SLET/SET is not required for disciplines where these tests are not conducted.
